"How many times have we imagined this encounter? How many words, places, timezones can deliberately separate us from the ones we love? Still, fate plays a bigger role. Thinking about the beauty of finding and the joys of maintaining, I painted Paradiso. The look of love has many faces and this blue encompasses its different nuances. There’s a blue in each love story, the hidden sadness on getting what you want is to also watch it fade. So I paint to fate, the one that takes but also gives exactly what we should." - Samuel de Saboia
