Cultural Memory and Contemporary Upheavals: A Conversation with ICA Miami Curator Gean Moreno
Join Lyle Ashton Harris in conversation with Gean Moreno, curator of his current solo exhibition and Director of the Knight Foundation Art + Research Center at the ICA Miami, on Friday December 4th at 2:00 p.m (EST). They will be discussing the exhibition “Lyle Ashton Harris: Ektachrome Archive" now on view at the ICA Miami through November 2021.
The show features a selection of thirty-five printed color photographs of creative activists and cultural influencers of the 1980s-90s from my Ektachrome Archive as well as an installation spotlighting fifteen of his artist journals dating from the early 1990s.
