For this year’s edition of BRAFA, we are pleased to present a solo exhibition of Arne Quinze, the fair’s guest of honour. Quinze will take over the gallery’s booth walls, transforming it into an immersive space featuring new paintings inspired by his garden, and sketches that offer insight into his process. As part of his role as guest of honour, the artist will exhibit large-format paintings inspired by impressionism, works on paper, and monumental sculptures beyond the walls of the gallery’s stand. As is the tradition at BRAFA, he will design the fair’s carpet which will trickle into the booth. Arne Quinze is the youngest and first Belgian artist ever to be selected as the guest of honour in the fair’s history.
