his 34th birthday. The photo would become the Rolling Stone issue #225 cover image with the
heading “The Healing of Brother Brian”. The shoot took place during the filming of a clip for an
upcoming TV special, called “The Beach Boys: It’s OK”. The painting’s title is derived from the
kind of positive affirmations similar to the cardboard signs that Wilson’s renowned
unconventional therapist, Dr. Landy, would hold up during public appearances during this time
with words such as “POSITIVE” and “SMILE”.
