In/Situ Outside, which involves staging temporary public art installations along the city’s Lakefront and throughout its neighborhoods, will feature three works by three artists this year: Justin Brice Guariglia, Iván Navarro, and Lawrence Weiner. The section is curated by Expo Chicago, the city’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, and Navy Pier. Justin Brice Guariglia is represented by the gallery MARUANI MERCIER, who also has two booths at the fair EXPO Chicago, including a solo booth with new works from Trurner nominee George Shaw, who opens his retrospective at the Yale Center for British Art in October.
