We are delighted to return to Art Dubai with an exquisite range of works by artists exemplary of our dynamic programme. This presentation includes a captivating floral opus by the renowned Neo-geo pioneer Ross Bleckner, whose flowers capture human fragility and provide a counterpoint to formalism; a gilded, perforated work on paper by Nigerian artist Victor Ehikhamenor who recently presented a monumental installation at the 2024 Lagos Biennale; an opulent composition by fellow Nigerian artist Modupeola Fadugba that metaphorically addresses the past and future of her country via the depiction of black female swimmers; three works from the post-conceptualist forefather Peter Halley, including a rare, metallic 1997 work that reflects on the geometricization of social spaces in the world; a mirrored and introspective wall sculpture by conceptualist Jeppe Hein, whose immersive and playful installations are found across the globe; three paintings by Paul Mogensen inherent with his signature algorithmic motifs that made him a trailblazing figure in the minimalist movement of the 1960s; a passionate, deeply-hued canvas by the late Austrian expressionist Hermann Nitsch typical of his performative and action-based style; a vibrant composition bursting with floral energy by Arne Quinze, whose paintings will be the subject of a forthcoming solo exhibition at the Ludwig Museum Koblenz this September; and finally, two fairytale-informed tableaus by our newly represented artist Bea Scaccia that explore the depths of feminine splendour and beauty.
